Invacare plans to outsource IT

ELYRIA, Ohio - Invacare plans to outsource its information technology division to the Japanese company NTT Data, according to The Chronicle-Telegram. The move means dissolving the company's 24-person in-house IT department. Employees will be able to interview with NTT Data, and those not hired will be laid off with severance packages, according to the newspaper. “It is my understanding that a majority will receive positions with NTT onsite or elsewhere,” said spokeswoman Lara Mahoney....
