ORONO, Maine – The board of directors of the Home Medical Equipment and Services Association of New England (HOMES) is considering restructuring the association in light of recent leadership transitions and the current environment.
Since the passing of long-time President and CEO Karyn Estrella in 2019, HOMES has had two leaders, Jason Morin, now at Coloplast, and Cathy Hamilton. Hamilton, who led the association for two years, resigned to explore other opportunities in November.

The role of board members includes being available to other members to answer questions about the association's activities and to recruit new members. Members are expected to attend board meetings held three times per year, and to serve on at least one committee and attend committee meetings. Members are also expected to participate in grassroots lobbying efforts.
