Health share of GDP to hit 19.4% by 2027, report says

WASHINGTON - National health expenditure growth is expected to average 5.5% annually from 2018-2027, reaching nearly $6 trillion by 2027, according to a report published by the Office of the Actuary at CMS.Growth in national health spending is projected to be faster than projected growth in gross domestic product by 0.8% over the same period.As a result, health share of GDP is projected to increase from 17.9% in 2017 to 19.4% by 2027, the report says.National health spending over the next decade...
