BOULDER, Colo. - Quality Biomedical is expanding into larger facilities in the Dallas-Fort Worth area to meet the growing demand for its services. “Texas has always been a strategic market for us,” said Jim Worrell, chief commercial officer. “We have experienced considerable growth in Texas and the surrounding states, necessitating the need for much larger facilities. Our new 20,000 square-foot service center allows us to provide enhanced levels of service to our customers in this region.” The new Texas facility, one of eight service centers the company operates across the United States, incorporates Lean Manufacturing and 6S standards as the company prepares for ISO-13485 certification. “Along with the larger facility, we have doubled our logistics capacity in the region, providing more frequent pickup and delivery services to meet the needs of our valued customers,” said Worrell. Quality Biomedical is a Factory Authorized Service Center (FASC) for most of the major respiratory OEMs in the market. Their 170 employees support more than 3,000 HME and post-acute care locations nationwide.
