LAS VEGAS - Medtrade Spring attendees should expect a banquet of new products, seminars and activities when the show convenes March 30 through April 1 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, organizers say. To whet the industry's appetite, there will be several networking events featuring food and drink, including a Breakfast Club, Power Lunch and Audit Happy Hour.

Pivoting off the theme “A to Z of HME,” Medtrade Spring promises full immersion for attendees seeking a complete industry experience, says Show Director Kevin Gaffney.

“We have everything from A/R Allegiance Group to Zommworks,” he said. “It conveys the absolutely true sentiment that everything that matters in the HME world is represented by the exhibitors, educational sessions and networking opportunities at Medtrade Spring.”

Idea sharing—whether through workshop discussions, hallway meetings or informal chitchat between sessions—is what Gaffney calls “the secret sauce of Medtrade Spring” and says attendees will have more opportunities to engage with their peers at this year's show.

“The act of being in a new town with the expressed purpose of learning about your business fosters a willingness to share,” he said. “The providers at Medtrade Spring are usually not your direct competitors, so you can exchange ideas freely.”

Gaffney says the show atmosphere is tailored to learning about new products, ideas and techniques that can transform providers' businesses and offers a forum for providers to discuss their challenges, such as audits and competitive bidding.

“Ultimately, these discussions can motivate you to look forward and find solutions,” he said. “People should attend these events because they will have the opportunity to meet new colleagues while sharing ideas and libations in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.”

Although Medtrade Spring, held in Las Vegas every year since its inception, is informally known as the “West Coast” show, Gaffney says it is aimed at providers from all over the country.

“It may sound clich, but spring is a time of renewal and the timing of Medtrade Spring is designed to kick-start HME businesses and help them find solutions they can use through summer and fall,” Gaffney said. “After that, it's time to attend Medtrade in October to reassess what has worked and what needs fine tuning.”
