PITTSBURGH – The International Seating Symposium at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh has been rescheduled to Jan. 31-Feb. 2, 2022, due to the COVID-19 Delta variant.
Pre-symposium workshops will take place Jan. 29-30, 2022.
“With aggressive vaccination programs being implemented in many countries, we are hopeful that moving to a later date will maximize the number of attendees, presenters and exhibitors who are able to safely participate in person,” show organizers said in an email.
ISS in Pittsburgh was originally scheduled for March 18-20, 2021, and then was moved to Oct. 26-30, 2021.
Participants can still attend in-person or remotely under the new dates.
ISS 2022 in Vancouver, British Columbia, was cancelled in July due to “uncertain times” and the decision by Sunny Hill Centre’s conference partner, Interprofessional Continuing Education (ICPE), to close.
ISS typically alternates each year between the United States and Canada.
