SURREY, England – eFOLDi, a manufacturer of lightweight scooters, has partnered with Afikim, a U.S. retail distribution network, to distribute its “Lite” model, its first entrant into the American market. The Lite, which weighs 33 pounds excluding battery, folds and unfolds in just a few seconds, and is very easy to store and transport. No complex assembly is required. “We’re delighted to be partnering with a company the likes of Afikim, who come with a very strong reputation in the industry globally,” said Sumi Wang, CEO at eFOLDi. “The cultures of our businesses are very much aligned, and we see this collaboration being a major milestone in the evolution of our business. Demand for mobility scooters is expected to increase dramatically in the U.S. over the coming years, and we couldn’t have chosen a more experienced partner to help us achieve our ambitious plans for growth.”
