WATERLOO, Iowa - In a bulletin to members, VGM congratulated Laurie Nivala, a sales and marketing associate at Wheelchairs Plus in Grand Rapids, Minn., for submitting the winning Twitter hashtag: #stopCBforDME. As the winner of the contest, Nivala will receive a free registration to the Heartland Conference in June. VGM held the hashtag contest to get providers to use social media to voice concerns about competitive bidding. More than 200 individuals voted for the winning hashtag from among 20 different hashtags submitted. VGM urges providers to use the #stopCBforDME in Twitter messages to members of Congress, key committees and CMS.
