Sue Mairena, who has more than 20 years of financial and managerial experience in a variety of industries, has been named chief operating officer (COO) of the American Association for Homecare (AAHomecare). As COO, Mairena will manage AAHomecare's day-to-day operations, human resources, accounting, monthly financials and yearly budget. In addition, she will evaluate the association's existing structure, such as its IT systems and accounting policies and procedures. Mairena most recently served as Supervisor of Accounting Outsourcing for Raffa and Associates, P.C., in Washington, D.C.

Sunrise Medical has hired Robert Naglieri as its chief financial officer, effective July 7. Naglieri had been CFO at Teledyne Technologies, a maker of electronic components...Sara Bauer is the new director of education for The VGM Group. She replaces Libbie Lockard, who has opted to forego her Ohio-to-Iowa commute and become a VGM consultant… InnoMed Technologies has hired Hans J. Werner as its vice president of international sales. Werner was most recently a president of a Vital Signs subsidiary, Breas Medical, and previously worked for 12 years as Respironics' director of international sales.
