Hanger gets bigger

BETHESDA, Md.--Hanger Orthopedic Group recently acquired Seattle-based Northwest Prosthetic and Orthotic Clinic and San Diego-based Inline Orthotic and Prosthetic Systems. The two companies combined produce $5.3 million in revenues, said Hanger in a release. The acquisitions will enhance Hanger's existing markets in those states. Hanger operates 675 patient care centers with more than 3,500 employees including 1,083 practitioners. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
