Another law firm launches Invacare probe

LOS ANGELES - The Law Offices of Todd M. Garber is investigating potential claims against Invacare concerning possible violations of federal securities laws related to the company's problems with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), according to a press release. The investigation centers on certain statements issued by Invacare between July 22, 2010, and Dec. 7, 2011, regarding the company's compliance with FDA guidelines and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP). The firm plans to investigate allegations that Invacare “misrepresented or failed to disclose widespread operational, quality and regulatory deficiencies” at the company's corporate facility and its wheelchair manufacturing facility in Elyria, Ohio.
