BioScrip obtains credit facility

ELMSFORD, N.Y. - BioScrip has secured a $75 million revolving credit facility, it announced today in a press release. A portion of it will be used toward the purchase of Cincinnati-based CarePoint Partners. BioScrip announced in June that it planned to buy the home infusion provider for $223 million. BioScrip also announced that it will purchase approximately $126.2 million aggregate principal of its outstanding notes. The deadline for holders to submit tenders was 5 p.m. EST on July 30.

Layoffs at Invacare hit 236

ELYRIA, Ohio - Invacare has laid off an additional 25 workers at its Taylor Street manufacturing facility. It's the third layoff at the facility: In late 2012, Invacare laid off 143 workers; and in April of this year, it laid off 68 workers.
