UPitt to offer scholarships

PITTSBURGH - The Department of Rehabilitation Science & Technology at the University of Pittsburgh has established scholarships valued at up to $10,000 for candidates interested in pursuing a Master of Science in Rehabilitation Technology. Graduates of the program are eligible to sit for the assistive technology professional board examination soon after graduation. The RT master's program is currently 44 credits that can be completed in one or two years. Courses cover topics that include manual and powered mobility, smart home technology, augmentative communication, computer access, ethical considerations in health care, funding, policy, service delivery models, evidence-based practice, among others.
