Schmeler climbs up ladder at UPITT

PITTSBURGH - The University of Pittsburgh appointed Dr. Mark Schmeler director of the continuing education program of the Department of Rehabilitation Science & Technology (RSTCE) in November. The appointment follows the retirement of Elaine Trefler. RSTCE coordinates the International Seating Symposium, which takes place every other year in the United States. Schmeler has been a faculty member at UPitt since 1996. He has more than 18 years of clinical experience in assistive technology.
