MYSTIC, Conn. - National Seating and Mobility (NSM) and Groton's Fort Hill Pharmacy helped to donate 12 new wheelchairs to Mystic Aquarium, according to an article from theday.com, an online news source in Connecticut. NSM and Groton's provided the wheelchairs, worth more than $25,000, at more than 50% off retail to UnitedHealthcare, which donated them to the aquarium, the article said. The aquarium plans to make the wheelchairs (six standard, four heavy-duty, one standard electric, and one heavy-duty electric) available to guests on a complimentary basis.
