TORRANCE, Calif. - Wheelchair manufacturer Convaid has formalized its alliance with United Cerebral Palsy of Los Angeles (UCPLA). As part of the alliance, Convaid and UCPLA will participate in joint marketing efforts, speaking engagements, parent conferences and panels to educate families living with children with special needs, they announced Sept. 18. “The alliance between Convaid and UCPLA allows us to deepen our understanding about the unique needs of people living with cerebral palsy, and how Convaid can give these individuals and their families the freedom to do more, and live richer and fuller lives,” stated Chris Braun, Convaid president, in a press release. Convaid manufactures adaptive assisted wheelchairs and mobility products for people from infancy to young adulthood.
