TORRANCE, Calif. - Convaid recently donated a wheelchair to the International Rett Syndrome Foundation (IRSF) Southern California Chapter's Strollathon. The California-based manufacturer, which specializes in lightweight, compact-folding and adaptive-assisted wheelchairs, has been partnering with the South Southern California Chapter for more than a decade. “This partnership has directly contributed to the success of our event and put smiles on the faces of so many of our children and their families,” said event coordinator, Sherri Brady. Organizers raffled off the Convaid wheelchair to raise research money and public awareness for Rett syndrome. The winner of the chair will be able to customize it to match his/her therapeutic needs.
