United Seating and Mobility (USM) announced this week that it has picked up three RehabTECH branches: Fridley, Minn, which serves the greater Minneapolis area.; Oak Creak, Wis., which serves the greater Milwaukee area; and Appleton, Wis.
Here's what Bob Gouy, president and COO of USM, had to say in a release:
The addition of RehabTECH's capable associates and strategic locations will advance our key initiative to sustainable growth as a leading provider. We are very excited to welcome the RehabTECH staff to the USM team and look forward to the opportunities this expansion brings. Any agreement that helps to strengthen our company, as well as the affiliate companies' position, creates a more stable market and allows us to continue to find ways to deliver quality services and products in this challenging reimbursement environment."
RehabTECH isn't going anywhere, though; it will continue to operate branches in Illinois and Indiana.
Gouy told HME News earlier this year that USM had 42 branches nationwide.
