CCS Medical taps former Cardinal exec as CEO

FARMERS BRANCH, Texas - CCS Medical has named Tony Vahedian as CEO effective Oct. 26. Vahedian has more than 25 years of experience, serving most recently as president of Cardinal Health Canada. Vahedian will work to accelerate the company's growth in the diabetes space, as well as expand its service offerings by leveraging digital engagement platforms and clinical education. “Health care moving to the home has been a trend we have seen growing in the last five years,” said Vahedian. “Now, with the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, it has accelerated even further.” Founded in 1994, CCS Medical offers insulin pump therapy, CGMs and diabetes testing supplies; wound care, urology, incontinence and ostomy supplies; prescription medications; orthotics; and breast pumps.
