Brightree's big picture

ATLANTA - Brightree President and CEO Dave Cormack says revenues grew 50% in 2014 and the company has HME providers, in large part, to thank.
“The vast majority of that growth was from HME,” he said. “We're hitting the ball out of the park for HME.”
A big attraction for HME providers, Cormack says, is that Brightree's cloud-based solution is also being used by other homecare providers, including home health, hospice and private duty nursing agencies.
All together, Brightree has 3,000 provider customers across the homecare spectrum.
“We've built out a single platform for all of these communities to come together,” he said. “It's an investment we continue to make.”
Case in point: Brightree is currently in the process of integrating the referral management process between hospice agencies and HME providers, but it's not stopping there, Cormack says.
“Where we see the bigger picture is something called continuing care retirement communities, which are part independent living and part assisted living,” he said.
Brightree already has a patient scheduling system that works across the different markets it serves, Cormack says.
“We can service standalones in each market or those that are integrated,” he said. “It's a best of breed for all marketplaces.”
