Chad Therapeutics' domestic conserver sales are up 25% over the same corresponding quarter last year, although the company is reporting an overall revenue decline of 7% in the 2nd qtr. of fiscal 2003. Sales of the Total O2 transfilling concentrator were down, partly due to an acquisition of a big customer last year by a national player that doesn't use Total O2. Chad expects a resumption of positive overall revenue comparisons next month…. CareCentrics revenues for the 3rd qtr. of 2002 were up about 12% over last year, and the company turned a $366,000 profit this year vs. a $4.8 million loss in the same qtr, last year. Said company CEO John Festa: "We consider this quarter to be the start of a new growth era for the company… Allied Healthcare Products reported a net loss of $240,000 in the 1st qtr of fiscal 2003; last year's loss in the same qtr. was $510,000.
