ROCKY HILL, Conn.--ATG Rehab continues to expand its footprint. The company announced in October that it acquired Air Products Seating and Mobility, a division of Air Products Healthcare.
ATG Rehab will gain 50 employees and five locations in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Georgia and Illinois. It's the second acquisition in as many months for ATG Rehab, which bought Bellevue, Wash.-based Wheelchairs Northwest in September.
The deal gives ATG Rehab a foothold for future growth, said David Law, vice president of operations.
“Atlanta will be our regional headquarters for funding coordination and reimbursement,” he said. “It will be a hub for the Southeast, allowing us to further expand through organic growth and acquisitions.”
The Air Products Seating and Mobility locations will operate under the ATG name, joining a network of 20 independent affiliates that have taken on the ATG Rehab name as part of the company's re-branding initiative.
