WASHINGTON – AAHomecare will host its first in-person Washington Legislative Conference in six years on May 12-13.
“2025 has ushered in a new administration and major leadership changes on congressional committees of jurisdiction for health care finance issues,” the association stated in a bulletin. “Our industry must take advantage of the opportunity to enlist new advocates for HME on Capitol Hill and strengthen relationships with our established champions.”
The event will include a networking reception and dinner May 12, 5-9:30 p.m., followed by a full day to meet members of congress and staff on May 13.
Key talking points for the conference:

Deliver a long-term solution that aligns rates with market reality for suppliers in former bidding areas.
-
Ensure Medicare Advantage plans don’t limit coverage for HME products.
-

-

-
