Interoperability isn’t a new word but according to the interoperability research report conducted by In90group Research, only 20% of HME, Pharmacy and home infusion providers reported that they’re set up to receive referrals through electronic data exchange. But if 99% admitted that they’re more likely to send referrals to providers that can receive orders electronically, why haven’t more providers adapted interoperability into their system?
