Adrift: A Panel Discussion on the Philips Recall
Online
Original Event Date: Wednesday, July 28, 2021 ~ 1:00PM - 2:00PM
On June 14, 2021, Philips Respironics recalled nearly 4 million of its CPAP, BiPAP, and ventilation devices. The manufacturer estimates it could take a year to replace or repair the affected equipment, and the pandemic-strained global supply chain cannot do much to expedite the process. Limited guidance since the announcement leaves suppliers, clinicians, and patients to plot their own course between now and then.
Fortunately, we don’t have to figure it out individually. We can leverage our shared perspectives and experiences to find our way. Join us for this free event sponsored by HME News and MiraVista, LLC.
The panel comprises expert perspectives from across the industry:
- Jeffrey Baird, Brown & Fortunato (Legal)
- James Graham, Renaissance Medical, LLC (Supplier)
- Tim Safley, Accreditation Commission for Health Care (Accreditation)
- Andrea Stark, MiraVista, LLC (Reimbursement)
- A representative from the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (Clinical)
