The cost of advertising on cable stations is really affordable in many areas, Evans says. "In urban areas, it's still $50 a spot, but in most average cities, it's $3 to $5 a spot," he said. "People can spend as little as $1,500 per month and look as big as a national provider. It's great."

LAKE FOREST, Calif. - Apria Healthcare has completed its purchase of Praxair's U.S. homecare business, the provider announced March 7. Praxair offered home respiratory services, home medical equipment and enteral nutrition through more than 80 locations nationally. Apria offers home respiratory services, home medical equipment and home infusion through 500 locations nationally. Apria has more than $2 billion in annual revenues.
