SMT to distribute Rock 'N Go wheelchair

DETROIT LAKES, Mich. - SMT Health Systems, best known for its PAL brand of patient lifts and stands, began distributing the Homecrest Rock 'N Go wheelchair January 1. "(This wheelchair) can be customized through tilt and height adjustments to fit each individual for optimal body positioning, comfort and mobility," said Keith LeCleir, SMT president and CEO. "The Rock 'N Go is especially effective with Alzheimer's and dementia patients." Homecrest is primarily a manufacturer of patio furniture. The arrangement between the companies permits Homecrest to maintain a position in the healthcare field and SMT to diversify its line of healthcare products.
