Philips showcases new vision

Booth 2233 - Murrysville, Pa.-based Philips Respironics has a dream. It consists of a world where sleep providers have more control over technology, patient-centric care and effective therapy. And the newly unveiled Dream Family of products has made that dream a reality, says Jim Doty, senior director of field marketing.

“We're excited to show how we're leveraging connected technology to provide integrated solutions in both sleep and respiratory care,” he said. “Patient-centric, data-enabled total sleep and respiratory solutions are no longer a vision—they're here.”

The Dream Family line is designed “with the patient in mind,” Doty said. “We started the design process by interviewing patients about what they wanted in sleep therapy products.”

Technology—specifically the connectivity of devices—is a major theme of the Philips Respironics booth, Doty said. Educational features are product-focused, he said, offering attendees an opportunity to learn how Philips' innovation can help more patients successfully use their therapy for as long as it is required.

Booth visitors are able to check out the entire Dream Family portfolio, Doty said.

“Customers will get to experience how our new sleep therapy solution works as a connected platform to provide the patient with an improved, more comfortable PAP therapy experience backed by smart technology,” he said.
