PORT WASHINGTON, N.Y. - Drive Medical announced today that it has acquired Mountway Holdings, a manufacturer of bath lifts and aids to daily living.
Mountway is based in New Zealand.
"We are pleased to add Mountway to the Drive family," stated Drive Chairman and CEO Harvey Diamond in a release. "The combination of their...design-led philosophy and high value-added products will accelerate Drive's growth in the bath and independent aid product categories in the UK market."
Mountway manufactures several bath lifts, including the Neptune, the Aquila and the Splash; and also manufactures toilet and pillow lifts.
Drive has been busy on the acquisition front in recent months. In October, Drive announced that it had acquired respiratory products manufacturer Inovo/Chad Therapeutics, and power mobility product manufacturer ActiveCare Medical.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
