Cape Medical Supply: From the beach to Beantown

SANDWICH, Mass. - Cape Medical Supply has added a fourth location in Canton, Mass., opening the door for the Cape Cod-based provider to offer services throughout the greater Boston area.
"We have already met with a multitude of professional partners in the region who are welcoming us with open arms," stated CEO Gary Sheehan in a release. "This doesn't in any way change our commitment to service Cape Cod; it simply expands our service footprint and offers more customers the ability to experience our unique brand of service.
Cape Medical expects to service hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, hospice agencies, individual patients and a range of other healthcare professional partners from the new location.
The 5,000-square-foot location features 3,000-square-feet of warehouse space, 1,500-square feet of office/administrative space and two patient therapy rooms.
To cover its new territory, Cape Medical expects to add four full-time positions. It may also add positions at its headquarters in Sandwich, Mass., where it performs all back-office functions like customer service, billing and executive management.
Cape Medical's other locations are in Hyannis and Falmouth.
