Apria’s DSO remains at 52 days

LAKE FOREST, Calif. — Apria kept is DSO at 52 days in the first quarter, despite the usual first-quarter slowdown in cash collections due to patient deductibles and payer and benefit changes that typically occur at the start of a new year. The HME industry's overall accounts receivable DSO stands at 85 days, according to AAHomecare's 2002 Financial Performance Survey Report. Also in the first quarter, Apria completed seven acquisitions for $22.9 million, according to the company's most recent financial statement. Revenues were $335.1 million for the first quarter of 2003, an 11% increase compared to revenues of $301.3 million for the first quarter of 2002. HME
