LAFAYETTE, La. – Viemed Healthcare has reported revenues of $46.9 million for 2017, a 50% increase compared to 2016. It reported gross margin of $34.6 million, an 84% increase. The provider has reported revenues of $13.5 million for the fourth quarter of 2017, a 47% increase compared to the same period in 2016. Viemed pointed out that it grew its vent patient count by about 43% in 2017, the most significant contributor to its overall patient count and growth in revenues. “While 2017 was an outstanding year, we have started 2018 off to a record start and plan to drive shareholder value,” said CEO Casey Hoyt. “With less than 5% market penetration for our services, we feel that we are scratching the surface with how many lives can benefit from our therapy.” Viemed, through its indirect wholly owned subsidiaries Sleep Management, L.L.C. and Home Sleep Delivered, L.L.C., is a home medical equipment supplier that provides post-acute respiratory care services in the United States.
